Initially, I chose the classic Google Sites over the "new" one, as it was more flexible and supported custom domains. Google is now closing classic sites and forcing a transition to the new Sites, which is unacceptable for me.

I have used Odoo internally for inventory management for a few years and saw that it would be a suitable alternative. I am self-hosting this on an Azure VM. This now supports HTTPS, built-in store, OAuth through Google, 2FA, and many more features. I might consider hosting this on my own server if the VM is not good enough.

If you encounter any performance or stability issues, I would greatly appreciate feedback about it.
